Coffee arabica
Large evergreen tropical to temperate shrub with deep green glossy foliage. Fragrant white jasmine like flowers in spring turn into green berries which mature to a brilliant red in autumn. Red berries 'beans' can be harvested late autumn then roasted, ground and brewed. Plants in favourable conditions will produce a good yield of berries within 2 years. Cultural Notes:
Large shrub growing to 5m height and 2m wide. Plant in full sun or part shade in a warm position. Highly frost tender.
