Lilly Pilly - Jambos
Acmena smithii
A small evergreen tree or large shrub with cream/white flowers in autumn followed by edible purple or white berries. Berries may be eaten off the tree or used in jellies and jams or to make cordial. Please refer to our recipe guide for more details.
Cultural Notes:
Evergreen plant which likes full sun to part shade and grows 4-10m. Likes medium to heavy soil, is frost and drought tolerant. Also great as a tall hedge plant. Responds well to pruning. Produced from seed.
