Passionfruit - Banana
Passiflora mollissima
Climbing plant that has very ornate pink flowers in summer, followed by long yellow fruits containing a very sweet banana flavoured pulp when ripe. Great for desserts, smoothies, icings, etc. or straight off the vine.

Cultural Notes:
Vigorous climber best grown on trellis on a wall or fence. Needs full sun in well-drained, light to medium soil. Once established will tolerate hard conditions. Light prune after fruiting. Produced from seed - grown on their own rootstock.
