A bushy shrub or small tree with bright green, leathery leaves. In spring this wattle is almost completely covered with bright yellow strongly scented flower spikes. A showy wattle that is useful for general garden planting, as a windbreak or a fast growing shade plant. Can also be planted in pots. Flowers will attract birds to the garden. Tolerates wet, boggy sites and clay.
