A perennial ground cover with a carpet of large, glossy green leaves aging to burgundy. The foliage forms a weed supressing mat with tubular mauve/blue flowers held higher above the foliage. Great for use in cottage gardens and softening path edges. Can be planted under trees and shrubs.
