An attractive, bushy, small shrub. Host for the monarch butterfly caterpillar. Ideal for mixed garden beds, borders and tubs. Useful for dried arrangements. Children love to float the inflated seed pods in water. Water regularly after planting until established. Prune during the growing season to maintain a bushy habit.
Cultivate soil before planting. Dig hole twice the width of the container. Remove plant from the container and place into the hole so the soil level is the same as the surrounding ground.
