This banksia is noted for its leathery green, serrated leaves and striking flowers. The large greenish-yellow flowers appear for most of the year and are followed by decorative grey cones. Wile mature specimens (50 years) may reach 20m tall, garden specimens can be kept considerably smaller. Ideal for gardens, parks and roadsides. Tolerates coastal conditions and short periods of dryness.
