A valuable, evergreen tree with a stout, grey trunk, and shiny green foliage. Bell-shaped, creamy bloomas are borne in summer, followed by large seed capsules. Wonderful shelter or shade tree especially for farms, parks and larger gardens. Food for honey bees.

Water well until established. Mulch well. Cultivate soil before planting. Dig hole twice the size of the container. Remove plant from container and place into the hole so the soil level is the same as the surrounding ground. Fill hole firmly and water well even if the soil is moist.
