Macarthur™ is bred from the popular callistemon varieties Little John™ and Captain Cook™. It has a more compact growth habit than Captain Cook™ and provides better flowering compared to Little John™. Macarthur™ has a bushy, tidy growth habit and produced masses of red flowers throughout spring and sporadically in autumn. This is a Myrtle Rust resistant Callistemon. Uses: Medium sized shrub that is great as a specimen or in mass plantings. Prune after flowering.
