Round silver foliage ona wonderfully fragrant, evergreen trimmed shrub or natural tree. Also known as Miena Cider Gum this Tasmanian Eucalypt is ideal for floral arrangements, as the foliage will last for a prolonged period inside. In the garden 'Silverdrop' can ultimately grow into a tree of 10-15m, but can also be kept to a rounded shape by cutting back to 1-2m. It can be trimmed into a ball or as a hedge, and is also suited to containers or makes an ideal specimen tree if left untrimmed.
In summer, the inconspicuous white flowers are a great source of food for bees, birds and butterflies.
