A fast growing, semi-evergreen tree with attractive ferny foliage. In spring and early summer, large drooping bunches of lilac-blue tubular flowers create a spectacular long lasting display. Excellent specimen tree for medium to large gardens, parks and for street planting. Provides good filtered shade in the garden. Tolerant of light frost once established. Tolerant of short dry periods but does better with regular water.
