An attractive, fast growing deciduous tree. In late spring, panicles of mauve, sweetly caramel-scented flowers are displayed, followed by berries which turn yellow and are carried on the bare branches over winter. Ideal for providing dappled shape in most gardens, and hardy in most situations. Frost tolerant.
*Berries are not edible
