Penstemon Dakota is an easy to grow, high impact perennial that's tough and long-lived.
Dakota Burgundy forms a sturdy mound of glossy, purple-black foliage. During the Summer months, upright stems of violet-pink tubular flowers appear followed by showy dark seed heads in autumn. Useful in mixed plantings, pots and containers and in the general garden bed. Flower stems are suitable for use as a cut flowers.
