Pepinos are a member of the potato family. Very easy to grow and produce fruit readily. They have very showy purple and white flowers throughout the year followed by melon-like striped fruit that turns yellow when it is ripe. Pepinos are great to use in cooking or raw. Low maintenance.

Cultural Notes
Plant in free draining fertile ground or in a large pot using premium potting mix. feed once a year in spring with a slow release fertiliser and keep soil moist for best results. mulching around the base of the plant is recommended. regular prune in the warmer months.
