An easy to grow, low maintenance flax grown for its striking architectural form and foliage. Hardy, versatile and very elegant. A clump forming, tufted, evergreen, grown for sensational upright to semi-arching maroon to ruby red, strap like foliage. During summer striking red flowers are borne upon blue tinged stems held high above the foliage. An excellent specimen for bold year round form and colour. Tolerant of coastal conditions. Drought and frost tolerant once established.
