Paw Paws are a popular perennial tropical fruit that can be grown successfully in more temperate climates when given protection from frost. These varieties have been selected for their vigour, thick sturdy habit and heavy yields of fruit. They produce sweet long fruits with thick flesh that is aromatic with a 14% sugar content. Fruit weighs between 1 and 3kg each depending on the growing environment. Fertilise with a general slow release product in spring. This variety is self pollinating.
